Games I Want To Play

About

Games I Want To Play is a small independent studio in Arizona.

It started the way a lot of us started: an NES on the living room floor, and every quarter we could find going into the machines at the arcade. Then came the first PC, a 166 MHz Packard Bell, and with it Diablo, StarCraft and Counter-Strike, played until the sun came up.

That was forty years of gaming ago, and gaming is still a big part of life here.

Over all those years one thing kept nagging at us. There are a lot of good games out there that stop just short of being great. We would play them and catch ourselves asking why a system worked the way it did, what was missing, and what one more idea could have turned it into something you never put down.

So now we make the games we want to play. That is the whole mission, and it is right there in the name.

Our first game is Hollowpine Landing, a cozy farm sim where the fog has teeth. More is on the way.
